Mr L’s introduces a refined bespoke high tea experience, designed as an extension of the restaurant’s philosophy of celebrating exceptional Australian produce and thoughtfully incorporating native ingredients. Crafted with a modern and creative approach, the offering brings together elegance, flavour, and a sense of relaxed luxury, creating a setting that can be enjoyed and celebrated with friends and family.
High tea has long held a special place in Chef Deepak Mishra’s culinary journey. His passion for bespoke high tea experiences began over two decades ago at Hotel Windsor and has remained a defining element throughout his career. Across luxury hotels such as Langham Hotel Melbourne , Hotel Chadstone Melbourne, MGallery and Pan Pacific Melbourne, as well as international assignments, he has consistently developed high tea concepts that balance craftsmanship, flavour, and presentation.
At Mr L’s, this experience is brought to life through a curated selection of savoury and sweet creations that highlight the best of local produce. Signature elements include blue swimmer crab remoulade with native lime in a brioche roll, 70% whipped chocolate ganache, and buttermilk lavender scones. Each component reflects a focus on seasonality, quality ingredients, and a refined yet approachable style.
The result is a high tea that is both contemporary and timeless, where flavour, presentation, and experience come together seamlessly.

  • Madagascar vanilla bean panna cotta with elderflower macerated berries and petite lemon balm
  • Lemon and passion fruit tart with poached Australian dessert lime and orange blossom perfume
  • 70% Belgian chocolate whipped ganache, hazelnut praline, salted caramel and bergamot oil trickle
  • Petite cheesecake with strawberry gum and berry salsa

  • Warm buttermilk & lavender scone
    Served with strawberry rose petal preserve and clotted cream

Bottomless specialty tea & a glass of sparkling wine
